I made the PARE test for the 3rd time this morning. Why 3? because the result is good only for 6 months and that period ends February 14th (I leave the 15th for Regina). Yes, I had to do it again for 1 day. But it's all good because it gave me the occasion to evaluate my physical condition that is good since I made the course in 3:24 and the required time is 4:15. The video below presents the test.

I would really like it if the RCMP would buy the police cars of the company Carbon Motors, here's one picture.

I attended the NHL's All-star game and it was really great. It was weird because we didn't have the description of the game told by the presentator but we got used to that. The All-star match is not a game like the other, there are no contacts, no slap-shot from the blue line and no goons to take the penalities and the players really had some fun. The strategy usd, all the passes were fun to watch and the game went in over time and in sudden death since it was 11 to 11. It was a really nice evening in good company since we were 4 persons.

I received the details of my flight this afternoon and the plane leaves at 6:00am, and I thought I could get up late. After a 1h30 stop in Toronto, I'll arrive in Regina at 10:40am. The RCMP's training facilities are situated near the airport and next to the golf course (as if I'll have the time to play :( ) You can see the plan here: http://maps.google.ca/maps?f=q&source=s_q&hl=fr&geocode=&q=Barker+avenue&sll=50.449252,-104.665847&sspn=0.016697,0.045319&g=11th+Ave+w&ie=UTF8&t=h&z=16

That's it, I received the call I've been waiting for since 2 years and it happened yesterday at 4:15pm.
I'm leaving Quebec on February 15th for Regina where I'll study, runm jump, train, drive, shoot a gun, self-defense for 6 the next 6 months. Well, I'll learn all a policeman should learn to do his job. Because, in addition to change my employer, I change the nature of my job, I exchange the keyboard for a police badge and my Toyota Tercel for a Ford Crown Victoria Police Edition.
Do I look foward to it?!?....what do you think. It's driving me crazy, I cannot stay in one place. Since the Holidays, I check the rebates in the stores in order to buy all the stuff I'll need in Regina and now, I'm 3 weeks away of being there and it seems that I still have 1 million things to do.
At least, because of my job at the RCMP, I'll be able to be part of the choir the sings the lumberjack song that you can see at the following address: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5zey8567bcg
